It is most important to maintain the correct pH of a nutrient solution.
pH is often regarded as the key which unlocks the doors to the various elements in a nutrient solution and makes them available to a plant. If a hydroponic system is not operated at the correct pH level then many elements will be unavailable to a plant in the correct proportions and deficiencies can become apparent.
My Greens recommends a nutrient solution pH range of between 5.5pH – 7.0pH for mixed crop types.
My Greens pH Lower is a diluted Nitric Acid solution (225gm/L). For safety, we recommend the use of protective gloves and eye protection. This product can cause burns, handle with care and keep out of reach from children.
For pH Testing, we recommend the Bluelab pH Pen.
