pH and EC ranges
Getting your pH and EC levels right are paramount to achieve lush, thriving plants.
If the pH level of your water is not at the optimal range, then your plant cannot use the available nutrients and micronutrients in your water reservoir. If the pH is too high, you will experience very poor plant growth, and if too low your plants can inhibit nutrient intake and cause root damage.
Your EC (electrical conductivity) range is essentially the nutrient reading in your reservoir, how much is available for your plants to use. Too low will cause poor plant growth and yields, too high will cause leaf and root burn.
