Question: What can I grow in a My Greens hydroponic tower?

Answer: You’d be surprised! The My Greens Hydroponic system supports a wide variety of plants—from leafy greens like lettuce, spinach, and kale to herbs like basil, mint, and coriander. You can even grow mini cabbages, leeks, and strawberries. If it’s a compact plant with shallow roots, chances are it’ll thrive in your tower. Question: How much faster do plants grow in hydroponic tower compared to soil gardening?

Answer: Alot faster! Because the plants are out in the natural sun, and they get all day water, nutrients and oxygenated water, the plants will grow 2-3 times faster than soil based growing. This rate of grows goes much higher if you have a greenhouse, due to the added warmth provided.

Question: How much time does a hydroponic system require?

Answer: Depends on the seasons. In New Zealand, February is hot, so the plants require more water than other months of the year. During this month you'd expect to water and feed them twice a week, and other months just once a week. Question: How do I know how much to feed the hydroponic plants?
