Soil gardening vs hydroponic gardening
Share
There can be alot of benefit to both soil and hydroponic gardening but they are very different in technique.
Soil gardening can be great for boosting mood (when things are going right) and growing great produce. But this can be detrimental to mood also when weeds take over, when the cat soils in the garden, when the slugs or rabbits ate all of your lettuce or when you're confused about all the different fertilizers and composts on the market.
Hydroponics appeals to the backyard grower or hydroponic hobbyist alike. It doesn't go without the work though, keeping it clean, maintaining the pH and EC levels in your water, scheduling those maintenance times so that your tank doesn't run dry. But once you have those factors sorted, growing your own product is simple and fast and eliminates those problems listed above that the typical soil gardener finds the most infuriating.Â
